Embossed Leaves Socks

Pattern: Embossed Leaves Socks, from IK Winter 2005. Yarn: Brown Sheep Wildfoote in Crystal Pink. Needles: Size #1. Comments: I think these are the most delicate socks I've seen! The pattern is really very easy to memorize and I love the little details like the ribbing and the toe. As for changes, I made my usual Sherman Heel but that is all. I also quite like the yarn and will probably knit with it again. I can't believe that I knit my first pair of socks in February and this is already my fifth! HA! Can't wait for Socktoberfest!

They look great!! I'm going to have to check out Wildfoote.

I just turned the heel on my pair, yay! I'll post a picture on my blog in a bit.

I love those!

I'd planned to knit that pattern months back, then stashed and completely forgot! I nearly used the yarn for something no-where-near-as-nice. Thanks for reminding me!

See what makes you better than I is that you know using light pink will look cute. I would have to use green because I cant think outside the color box. Great job!

Pretty pretty socks. Thanks for the link on the Sherman Heel. I was just short of the heel on Kat's Take Two socks and wasn't sure which heel to use. I'm going to give this one a try!

They are having a huge sale on Lamb's Pride, like $2-3 a skein!
